This is the first time traveling with a fur baby, and the lawn out back along with poop bags with so very much appreciated! Along with that, we are just next to the river with a lovely long walking path. We had a wonderful time just wandering along the river, and then returned for popcorn, a comfortable rest in a quiet room with amazing amenities. I love Candlewood Suites!

The room was really nice but the recliner bare functional. After two back surgeries I look for hotels with recliners since I cannot sleep on a flat surface. I barely slept all night. A recliner with infinitely adjustable would be an asset to Candlewood’s reputation.

I liked that there was a walking path by the river but it was right in front of some empty lots so I didn’t want to walk too far down the path! The rooms were clean and spacious and the full kitchenette was nice! It was close to shopping, food and downtown!

The room was great but to get there you have to walk through a lobby and hallways that have such a strong odor that it doesn't actually feel safe to breathe the air. What was the odor? It smelled like an overwhelming amount of the Wal-Mart version of Febreze exploded in the building in an effort to cover up some other smell - the combination of which forced us to hold our breath while walking through the hallways. It was bad. If you can find another place that doesn't force you to hold your breath, go there.
