Carola Lodge - Huacachina
No balcony but the room opened up to the poolside patio (not a private patio but very nice). The location of this place is better than Wild Rover because it is further in to the oasis and safer. This place is across from Bananas, which had excellent dinner food and DJ. Pool was excellent. Free breakfast was good. All of Huacachina is walkable.

Good location away from some of the more active parts of the city. The pool area was noisy, but this did not last all night. Pool and bar looked nice, though I did not have time to go to either. The room was hot and had a ceiling fan and standing fan. Windows opened, but did not have a screen, so it did not feel safe to allow cooler fresh air to come in. Shower had very low pressure, did not drain, and only had hot water. Bed was comfortable and staff were helpful.
