Hyde Park hotel rooms a the City Lodge

"Most convenient hotel at the airport. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food (at least Breakfast) was good, fresh, and hot. Have stayed before and will stay again. Note that one of our bags was delayed (International flight) for 5 hours. It was perfect to stay across from baggage services. "

"Large room, comfortable bed, good lighting. Evening buffet is excellent as is breakfast. Nice little outdoor pool. Hotel has a nice ambience. In places a little tired and dated, especially the bathroom. Was good value, and proximity to airport and free shuttle make it an excellent choice. "

"Great facility, friendly staff and delicious food. We were able to catch the hop on hop off bus just around the corner and access lots of sights that way. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Nelson Mandela Square, which was a nice bonus. Highly recommended this stay. "

"Closeness to gautrain which is 12 minutes and 3 stops to and from airport. Rosebank is also a train stop away. Sandton city is in walking distance. Don’t like that hotel entrance is not easily visible."

"Very happy with choice of hotel for first stay in johannnesburg. Food excellent. Pool was closed for one afternoon during our stay but staff arranged and took us to a neighbouring hotel to use their’s. Reinforced how good the pool area was in our hotel. Punctual shuttle to Sandton city. Hotel also on free shuttle stop for hop on/off bus "
