Excellent property, relaxing and breakfast was very good. Birds were a special treat to see and observe as they ate at the bird feeder.

We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts while watching the birds at the large wide window.
The owner prepares unique breakfasts with several unique touches and it’s a long walk to the Vanderbiltmansion or local stores.8.

Wonderful breakfast, host totally accomodated one of us who is gluten free, beautiful area to walk around.

What a gem! Inn the Woods is a lovely B&B very close to the FDR home and museum, the Vanderbilt mansion, and so much more. The hosts provided thoughtful touches in our room, such as a small fridge with bottled water, bedside lamps with USB ports, and plenty of hooks in the bathroom. And the breakfasts! Absolutely delicious and all made personally by our host. He even catered to my husband's unfortunate meat allergy by *making* turkey sausage patties to go with the eggs. We highly recommend Inn the Woods!
