One thing about the resort I didn’t like that. It was very cold getting out from the waterpark to your room. It was very very cold in the hallways. Also, I didn’t like that. There was no bathtubs.

Very cute & clean rooms. Bartenders were super nice and friendly. Waterpark admission isn’t included with your stay but it is 1/2 off and it is heated. Live music at the bar was good.

This is a great resort that is affordable for a family to enjoy the water park facilities. The property has many rooms that have been updated with unique design such ad the whale tail water facuets. The food and drinks at the restaurant are good for American fare. The resort also hosted a NYE party with a comedy show and that was pretty fun. The catered food was good, but the way it was served (buffet) was dumb & too long of lines. The guest rooms were comfortable, though heating units are loud.

Overall the property is beautiful. Although we had an enjoyable time, it appears that the staff was not prepared for school vacation week. I was misinformed of the opening time of the water park. When I called, I was told 1pm but it actually opened at 10am. Upon arrival it was quite busy (which I anticipated given it was school vacation week) but would have liked going earlier if I was advised properly. We waited over an hour for towels in the water park. While dining at the Landshark, a server never came over to us (waited about 20 mins for someone to check in) my husband eventually asked who our server was, then a manager came over to take our order. Our hotel room also had a dirty shirt under the bed. While the resort is beautiful, it is pricey especially if not receiving exceptional service.

Dear Tiffany,Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to share your thoughts. We're happy to hear that our beautiful property added to your experience. However, we apologize for any confusion about the waterpark hours and for any disappointment with the dining experience. The park does open at 10am for in house guests and day passes. On day of check in the park is open to arriving guests at 1pm. We appreciate your patience during school vacation week, and we look forward to welcoming you back for a more positive experience.Sincerely,Rachel ThayerGeneral Manager

The main reason for this rating was due to our horrible experience at the resort. When we arrived are room wasn’t ready which was fine because we arrived an hour before check in but because we were there with our three children for my oldest son’s birthday we decided to hit up the water park while we waited for our room. I have a 19 month old daughter and I had to change her into her swim diaper. When we entered the women’s lock room it was completely soaked with water everywhere and extremely slippery so I knew we needed towels. My husband went to ask and guess what? No towels at a water park?! What? No towels? So I proceeded back into the bathroom with my daughter and there were no anti slip mats placed down and we have no towels to dry anything well my daughter slipped and fell and banged her head. So of course she started screaming and was very upset. About an hour later now 4 pm when it supposed to be check in time we still never received a text our rooms were ready. My kids were hungry and tired at this point from traveling and we just wanted our room. But still nothing. So they are all standing there soaked and my husband goes to get towels, still NOTHING! So I go to the desk and explain what happened and suddenly there is a room available. She also told me she made a note on our account and that a manager would call me at 7 pm to talk about the incident. Well 7 pm came and no call. So in the morning I had to go back to front desk and explain everything all over again
