"If you book here, you will receive check in instructions via email - which likely will go to your spam, so check there! I didn't and ended up disturbing a lovely woman and her very cute dog around 9pm because we didn't know how to check in. When we got into the cabin, we were happy with it and it was comfortable. My only recommendation is to have a shade on the bathroom window because the decorative curtain didn't necessarily give enough privacy for me. I would definitely recommend this...

"Perfectly located in the capital, lots of grocery options, souvenir shops nearby. Good space to share for 3 people, only down side is that the water from taps smelled obnoxious, be it the toilets or kitchen sink, it all smell really bad and not suitable for drinking. "

"This unit was clean, tidy and stocked with a full kitchen! The beds were comfortable and we had a very enjoyable stay! The only downside, and it's a personal preference, is that we could not lower the temperature of the apartment. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!"

"Stayed in small camping pod and loved it. Loved the atmosphere there. Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Ideal experience, I recommend giving it a shot. "

"An excellent hotel! The location was incredible. Perfect walking distance to anywhere in the city and close to lots of bus stops for tour pickups. Very clean and tidy and the room was a really good size. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone needing a hotel in Iceland. "

"It was good. At breakfast you need to have a receptacle to place old teabags etc into. Our friends had issues with radiators making loud noises, they should be checked. Something to ensure milk is colder at breakfast and a choice of milks (semi skimmed) etc is needed. The coffee ran out and nobody seemed to be checking it."

Will definitely be back!

"Stayed here for 6 days with my 4 year old grandson and we had an amazing time. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The breakfast buffet was great with Western options as well as Scandinavian and Continental. My grandson loved the waffle bar. The location was an easy distance to downtown and all of the tour operators we used as well as the Flybus do hotel pick ups and drop offs there right to the door."

"Everyone was very friendly and respectful, the place is cozy and welcoming, and it’s right next to the shoreline! The only downside is the noise of the renovation construction in the morning, but it’s not a bother if you’re getting up early to go out for excursions. Greatly enjoyed my stay."
