"I was very impressed with the hotel, considering the low cost of rooms. Location wise it was not perfect with nothing much within walking distance, but by car it was equally between two destinations I was visiting. The breakfast buffet was a little lacking in variety considering the relatively high price, and hence I took this on only one of my two nights. I think they made a charge for extra coffee pods (if required), which does not seem to be a good point. Having arrived late in the evening, I removed the coffee from sight, so as I made sure I did not run out. This would be a consideration if two people were sharing the room Two single beds, but no serious option to put a space between them. Also, the mattress had a tendency to slide away from the base. I would stay again, but under similar conditions - as a base to explore and not a destination in itself."

"I stayed in the old hotel many years ago and it was fine, the new building is fantastic, very clean and well laid out. The restaurant did a good selection and quality of food at a reasonable price. The breakfast was very good. Comfortable beds but ideally mattress toppers that don't move would be better. The rooms we had were well equipped with everything we needed and more, such as hair dryer, coffee machine and small chiller fridge. Overall as a family we were very happy with the stay and would return. Amsterdam and the places around it we wanted to visit were around an hour's drive on main roads so perfectly located for us. "
