Hurtigruten Ferry Terminal Stamsund is a port on the island of Vestvågøy in the Lofoten archipelago. It’s a great place to watch cruise ships dock, dine at waterfront cafés and enjoy relaxed walks. The terminal is also the starting point for dozens of excursions along the Norwegian coast and out to sea.

Every May, the village hosts the Stamsund International Theatre Festival, a family-friendly event with theater performances and workshops.
Fishing enthusiasts might want to rent boats and equipment from the village. The waters around Stamsund and Lofoten are famous for their large numbers of cod, most notably during the winter spawning season between January and April.
