Our stay at Hilton Plaza had its highlights but also some drawbacks. The Good: Friendly Staff: Most of the staff were kind and welcoming, making us feel comfortable during our stay. Beautiful Property: The grounds are stunning, with well-maintained gardens, two pools, several bars, and a gorgeous beach. The atmosphere felt safe and relaxing. Food Quality: While there wasn’t much variety, the food itself was good. The Not-So-Good: Selective Lifeguards: Unfortunately, the lifeguards seemed to reserve their friendliness for female guests—if you know, you know. Construction Noise: A huge construction site next door was extremely loud, working from dawn to sundown, even on weekends. This disrupted the peaceful vibe. Room Issues: Our AC didn’t work properly, and because of the noise, opening windows wasn’t an option. Despite multiple requests to switch rooms, the only offer was one costing $150 more per night, which felt unfair. Overall Impression: The property itself is amazing, and we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and amenities. However, the issues with noise, the lack of room resolution, and the uneven friendliness of certain staff left us with mixed feelings. While our experience was generally positive, I would recommend Hilton Plaza with a note of caution. Hopefully, other guests won’t face similar challenges with the rooms or the ongoing construction.

The Hotel on the whole was fine. The life Guards at the main pool were great especially Kamal. They were always making sure you were ok and kept the pool area clean and tidy. The food was varied and looked good. I stuck to basics due to health reasons so I can’t vouch for most of it. I had a room on the second floor with a terrace. Rm 267. The shower leaked as the door didn’t quite close properly and the ironing board had a piece broken of it. I reported this to reception on check out. They asked why not before hand and to be honest it didn’t make or break my stay. All staff were all very friendly and helpful. A couple of downsides. 1. The music by the pool was repeated over and over and at times was far too loud. The animation team needs to learn to read their audience. 2. The poor guy at the pool bar needs help. They need 2 people. The hotel really seems to care what their patrons think. Whether they act on any constructive criticisim is up to them. If I got the chance I would return tho.

Hilton Plaza Hurghada was one of the worst Hilton properties we have ever stayed in. We booked a 2 bed apartment and on arrival were told that we can get an upgrade for a heafty price. Not knowing the details we declined. Soon after checkin we realised that were taken to a completely different apartment complex outside the Hilton building. These apartments were next to building site, desserted and not even 2 star standard. We complained to the Duty Manager- Ala and she refused to brong us back to the main apartment on the grounds of limited availability and insisted we took the matter up with Expedia as we had booked through them. It was such a bad ending to what was a delightful Egypt stay. Hilton Hurghada doesnt live upto Hilton standards or values of customer service. Their staff are rude and obnoxious and the whole establishment is a massive embarrasmment for the Hilton brand. Please try to stay away from Hilton Plaza Hurghada

This hotel was fantastic. The sea, pool and staff were really attentive and helpful; nothing was ever too much for them. The massages in the spa were wonderful. The only downside was that the outdoor terrace was cleaned overnight. Unfortunately this caused us to have 2 sleepless nights which impacted our holiday. However the manager offered us another room.

The hotel was very well maintained, staff were nice and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was also good value for money, but could have been better quality. Overall, a great stay and would choose again if I visited Hurghada.
