Sandy made our stay extra special, telling us history of the property as well as giving recommendations of sites to see. We slept well and it was cozy.

Beautiful Victorian inn with very attentive owner. Beautifully appointed house. Room was beautiful, but bed was hard as a rock! Overall, a very nice stay!

Sandy was great with lots of helpful ideas for exploring. Breakfast was excellent and a nice way to start the day. Dinner at Jagerberg was excellent and an easy walk

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had!! Everything from the warm welcome from the owner, Sandy to the comfortable sleep I had in the beautiful Victorian style room was wonderful. The hotel is a memorable luxury experience at a great price. I highly recommend this historic hotel for its ambience, lovely host, its beautiful historic architecture, spacious rooms and bathrooms, and the magical view of the mountains. The omelette breakfast was delicious and included in the price. The owner offers additional snacks, beverages, and toiletries. Only 30 minutes to Woodstock and 15 minutes to Windham. Great property and location! This would be a great place for wedding party guests.

This was our first B&B experience. Our room was clean, it was quiet and comfortable. Sandy and her staff were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was really good. The building and rooms have a vintage feel, not some new age cookie cutter stuff...but like an old and comfortable parlor setting. We loved it. We will definitely be back.

If you want take the experience to sleep in the very old town it is the place. The house is more a 100 years and the owners maintain excellent. The breakfast is hand made in the moment. It is super nice place.
