A lovely property, my room was excellent, comfortable and spotless. Easy parking, quiet neighbourhood, good location for my purposes. A handwritten welcome note is a nice touch. Claire was brilliant.

Lovely hotel! Only drawback are the stairs. The room was very warm! But nicely furnished and a nice en-suite with a shower over the bath. Lots of little thoughtful touches. The staff were lovely, very genuine and kind! Food was lovely, excellent breakfast with loads of choice. The only disappointment was the cheeseboard at dinner which seemed a little over priced and biscuits that were a bit chewy! Would definitely recommend though !

Amazing couple of days away
Absolutely amazing couple of days away in Norfolk. The staff and service at the King William were second to none; the food was amazing and our Golden Retriever even got his own breakfast and dinner from the chef. Outstanding place and we would definitely come again

Thanks for a great stay
Everything was to a high standard throughout with exceptionally friendly staff, especially the breakfast waitress. However, I feel that, generally, the food is over priced.

Clean, comfortable, friendly
Clean and comfortable room, spacious bathroom and good quality shower gel and shampoo. Breakfast included, good cooked breakfast, full english, eggs benedict etc. But help yourself is basic - just cereals, yoghurts and toast. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the manager. The pub closed before 10pm, and returning after that time I needed to enter through a back entrance, Im sure quite safe, but felt a liittle risky.

Pretty country pub/hotel in a good location for exploring Norfolk. A little bit dated inside. Stairway to room appeared to have not been vaccumed, but room lovely clean and confortable. Lovely views over the pretty beer garden. Drinks far too expensive. Breakfast was lovely quality, just missing some fruit. Good value for money and overall a nice stay

Liked: Room comfort
Beautiful pub/hotel.... Freezing room.
On arriving around 3.30pm it was very welcoming, a nice wood burner was going in the bar and the chap that booked us in was very helpful and polite. We took our case up to our room but didn't stay as we had booked into entertainment elsewhere. On returning to the accomodation at 11pm our room was absolutely freezing, there was nobody around to report the issue to. It wasn't just the room, the bed itself was Baltic, we just couldn't warm up and actually had to sleep in clothes! In the morning we went down for breakfast, we were greeted by a lady that couldn't do enough for us. We did mention the issue of the bedroom and she said she would mention it to management. I would say that the breakfast was a saving grace for me not being more annoyed. The food was plentiful, a continental selection and then a menu for freshly cooked hot items. We opted for a full English and we're not disappointed. Top quality meats and poached eggs cooked to perfection. The lady was very chatty and friendly, an asset to the pub. The visual of the pub/hotel was 10/10, staff 10/10 the food was 10/10 but the comfort caused by the freezing room was 1/10. Unfortunately because of this we wouldn't come back here out of summer months. We stayed in room 1.
