"Overall a good stay. Needs a bit of TLC to the paintwork. Bathroom is quite small but adequate, & bedroom space was small ie bed against the wall. Stayed in deluxe studio apartment it was nice to sit on chairs instead of bed to watch tv. Nice kitchen area if you want to cook something simple. Bed was comfortable & extra pillows if wanted in wardrobe. Great communication & easy mobile entry via email "

"SCAM!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Paid for my sons birthday weekend away (4y.o) drove 2.5 hours to get here and the host didnt send us entry code to the apartment so couldnt get in. Expedia confirmed all booking, tried to contact the host but blocking my calle. Texts delivered and left voicemails asking to call us but had no reply. Took our money and put a case with expedia and they refused to refund ao had to contact fraud department with my bank and pay for a hotel late at night instead!! Ruined...

"We could’nt get access into the property and couldn’t get hold of the managing agent, spent 2 hrs trying to get in, gave up and the whole area was fully booked. Absolute nightmare. The check in instructions were to download an app and then there were no details like property number, none of the key boxes were responsive. Contacted Expedia and spent a further 2 hrs on the phone to them and they also could not get in touch with the managing agent. The building had poor lighting outside and was...

"Never stay here. Was filthy looked like a crack house no communication at all. Had to find somewhere else last minute for 5 people as I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in this house! "

"The owner had mislaid my booking, and then the room was already occupied by someone else. Waited for an hour outside the property with minimal responses. Had to give up and find somewhere else instead."

"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "

"Excellent property. Very comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully decorated. Great communication with the hosts, they were very helpful. The site is great with lots to do and near local attractions such as Bridlington, Skipsea Animal and Bird Gardens, Hornsea, etc. All in all a truly lovely weekend away. "

"Spent 2 nights here recently visiting relatives in the area and loved it. Very clean, modern and comfortable and we felt very at home. All the kitchen amenities that you would need and a walk in shower to die for. We will definitely book again when in the area."

"Apartment was lovely - they had thought of everything, but what then let it down, was the use of cheap blinds that were almost see through and poorly fitting, and no curtains in the bedroom! There was also an overwhelming smell of what seemed to be damp. The apartment was really well thought out and very comfortable, but just let down by those 2 things."

"Lovely old-fashioned unique hotel. Lots of choice for food, and the spa is fab - £12 access per room is great, and the facilities were clean and updated. The gym/health club was a huge plus and made the stay even better. I would say the Bistro could do with some redecorating - the food was good and very reasonable, but the ambience/decor was a little plain for a dinner location! Aside from that, the rooms were clean, spacious and comfy, and the staff were all really friendly. Such a nice location for a weekend country getaway "

Excellent Location & Great Team of Friendly Staff

"This is my second stay at the hotel. The ensuite room was a great price and included a lovely buffet offering a choice of cooked or cold breakfasts. The hotel has an 80s vibe in terms of decoration which is tired. However my room was very clean and comfortable and peaceful. That to me is paramount, together with helpful and kind staff. "

"Check-in very straightforward, lovely helpful staff. Room was freezing when I got in, but had warmed up in a couple of hours. Probably not a bad thing, as not heating an unoccupied room. Reasonable evening meal (I got there minutes before the kitchen closed) and good breakfast. Good value for money. "
