This hotel was far away from town. If you don't rent a car you will have to request a taxi and it can get a bit expensive. If you are planning on staying on the hotel only then this is the place for you. Not a lot of variety on the breakfast, it says Continental but it's only fruit, oatmeal and coffee/tea.

Property was fun to stay at. It’s like staying out of glorified treehouse. If you’re expecting luxury and fine amenities, this is not the place for you. Think of this place as a tree fort that you built when you’re a kid, but you get to sleep in it and take a shower. It’s very fun and relaxing. Not to mention, the staff is very accommodating and they feel like family.

The room was very clean and yet very simple. The pool was not very inviting as it could have been cleaner. The waterfront is excellent for sitting at night and taking in the ambiance. The swimming is accessible for a swimmer as the water is deep. Breakfast claims to be at 8am but after 40 min we left as it was not ready. We were passing through doing long day drives so I was disappointed that I was unable to enjoy the pool and breakfast that I had considered when booking this property. Decent place if you are not on a timeline.

The staff at this place is amazing ang very helpfull. But this place is not like the pictures! It’s old and it needs a brush up!! The pool wasn’t cleaned, our rooms weren’t cleaned once through our four nights and it rained through the roof.

Place smell sewer…way to rustic, swimming pool needs to upgrade, they advertised shuttle but there is no, when rains nobody can acess the hotel….we booked for 3 nights but could stand just one night. Their pizza were really good, food was good.

This is the perfect stay for a secluded getaway. It was peaceful, relaxing with a scenic background. Nestled right in the middle of the jungle,the lagoon is refreshing. The food was delicious and very natural. They had a variety of options including vegan options. The staff was very friendly and helpful which added to the relaxing atmosphere. This is definetly the place to go to get away from everything and enjoy a stress free vacation.

They made our stay inconvenient said they would refund extra charges for an extra room we did not even use. They said expedia would refund and nothing after a month. Food was horrible. Plus, the manager was rude. Do not waste your money or time staying here.

Upon arrival, we were informed that there was no running water or electricity, but were told both would be restored within the hour. However, an hour passed and nothing had changed. The cabin was extremely humid and dark, with no running or flushing water. Electricity and water were finally restored at 7:20 PM. The next morning, while having breakfast, both utilities went out again at 9:00 AM. We checked out at noon, and the power and water were still not back. I requested a refund, as the bare necessities were not available during our stay. I was told that refunds could not be issued, but was given a partial refund of my breakfast bill—$600 pesos (approximately $30 USD). It seems like this may be a recurring issue during the rainy season.

Es un lugar tranquilo, pero está alejado de todo. El camino de entrada es muy difícil si vas en auto, ya que se hace lodo y se patinan las llantas. Si tu idea es ir a Bacalar, este hospedaje no es adecuado porque queda a media hora en auto. La limpieza no es buena, de 7 días que estuvimos, solo limpiaron 3.

La llegada y la salida fue imposible y caótica tuve que pagar $350 por dos viajes en lancha para salir e la propiedad. Los Ubers según la app me salían más baratos pero no entraban por las condiciones del camino (inundado , lodoso, con huecos,poca señalización). El día de mi llegada no hubo luz lo cual no es culpa de nadie , les hacen falta otras opciones de movilidad ( shuttle del hotel, lancha a precio preferencial clientes , cortesía de lancha para casos como el de tener que salir del hotel al no haber luz , bicicletas ) , las instalaciones están en en proceso de arreglos, personal 10/10, servicio al cliente 7/10 , restaurante 6/10 la comida está bien pero la relación precio calidad -cantidad es la que afecta la puntuación .

Excelente pero con algunos detalles

El lugar es muy bonito, con un ambiante para relajarse y no hacer nada. El personal aunque sumante amable y eso es de agradecerse, en el servicio si les hace falta un poco de atención, a veces pides algo y se van a hacer otras cosas personales antes de atender al cliente. Creo que con poco mas de énfasis por parte de su propietario que va ahí por ratos a tomarse una cerveza y se va, no habría ningún comentario negativo sobre el lugar. Aun y con todo si vale la pena ir, son detalles...

Lamentable ! Regrettable !

Décevant je ne recommande vraiment pas . Petit déjeuner quasi inexistant ( café soluble , bouillie de muesli écoeurante, et 3 tranchettes très très fines 😂😂 de fruits ) Un Service et un accueil plus que lamentable en plus ils ont ose réclamer des tips . Pas de bouteilles d eau dans les chambre si 3,50€ la petite bouteille à la réception . Nous sommes restés 3 nuits et les chambres ne sont pas faites. On a dû réclamer des nouvelles serviettes à la femme de ménage Le premier soir nous avons dîner au restaurant qui d ailleurs est cher avec des portions très petites. Nous avons réglé l addition le soir même et le jour de notre départ on nous a réclamer à nouveau l addition . L’eau de la piscine est verte et stagnante . Visiblement ça ne dérange personne et c est normal pour eux . Dans les chambre il n y a quasi pas de lumière impossible de lire un livre le soir et pas de télé. Je ne comprends pas comment un hôtel pareil peut être référencé sur hôtel.com.

La ubicación es excelente, las habitaciones son muy lindas y el precio también es bueno, la puerta de la cabaña dos se atora un poco, pero le encuentras la maña y listoo, cuando llegamos el anfitrión no se encontraba pero comunicándome al número me atendió de inmediato y me indico las instrucciones, definitivamente volvería a hospedarme aquí
