STAY AWAY! NO MATTRESS only box spring. LIAR owner

This hotel has NO MATTRESS in their property, all they have is a hard BOX SPRING that has no foam or futon. Owner was VERY RUDE and kept insisting that the box spring is a hard mattress but there is no mattress of any kind. I called hotels.com to cancel/refund my booking for 3N and the very next morning, the owner made me leave the room I paid for because he said he cancelled my booking and that I should get a refund. Hotels.com did not get any cancellation from the property and WON'T REFUND me because the hotel owner did not approve the the OWNER LIED about the cancellation/refund and still got paid for the paid booking that was never used. As picture showed there is a mattress on the bed since our hostel open in 2018.The mattress we provided has two sides,one side is soft,the other side is hard.Most of the time,we turn the hard side up,because of our domestic gusts like it.But we can turn the soft side up if we got gust`s requests. On Oct 18th,we got this Philippines woman`s reservations for three night (Oct 30th,Oct 31st,Nov 1st),and on these three night ,this Philippines woman booked three different rooms:Standard queen size room on first night, Deluxe family room on second night,and Standard twin room on third night. I fully understand it could come/leave in different numbers of family according to the room type,and I upgraded this Philippines woman`s room on first night to Deluxe family WITHOUT any charge in kindness.Also We offered free pickup service from train station about 22:30 on Oct 30th. (I think our kindness made this Philippines woman misunderstanding that we are weakness). After checking-in,it`s about 23:45,we got this Philippines woman`s requests that the mattress was hard,OK my wife immediately took the action and tried to turn on the soft side up,but this RUDE woman rejected,and my wife tied to give one more comforter quilt putting on top of mattress making it softer,but this RUDE woman rejected.Then this RUDE woman started to make big noises,bang the tables,and even worse stepping on the mattress and shouting in the middle night ,trying to wake up other gusts to watch THE SHOW.(all these statement is 100% true,we have two domestic gusts who was checking late and witness the whole thing.) Finally,the RUDE woman broke our sofa ,and took away the cushions to put on the bed.Funny and ironic thing is the RUDE woman got up late,seems she was sleeping very well. (Imagining,if you did not like a hotel,the first thing could get up early and leave asap.)

Very nice family-run hotel close to the amazing yellow mountains. Very positive surprise: Our host offered us a free-pickup service from the Huangshan North Station and drove our luggage to the hotel. He extended that by also driving us for comparably cheap fares to the bottom of the mountain and airport. Very nice chat in fluent English on our way there. The hotel includes a small restaurant, run by his wife and offers the probably best anhui-style food we had. Even took good care of the vegetarian in our group.

I like the property because it is very near to the High speed Rail station In addition, the owner provide a free pickup from the high speed station.

很好!we had a nice stay at the hotel, Alex was very nice to pick us up at the train station in his beautiful car, even though the hotel is very close. The house was really well kept and the rooms are really great as well. We only had a short night there as we were moving on to the mountains, but it was an amazing value and we had a good time

All we wanted from this hotel was somewhere for one night near the train station but it was so much more. Spacious and well-designed room, fast WiFi, very warm welcome from Alec and family. So kind to give us a lift to the station in the hotel tuk tuk. Delicious breakfast cooked to order - so much nicer than the standard buffet everywhere else we stayed! Thank you all!

Great for the price!

Nice hotel close to the train station. Only complaint is that the AC was off when we arrived and it was 95 degrees outside. Took the room an hour to cool off. The staff at the hotel is amazing. Alex was incredibly helpful and speaks good English. He made getting to the Yellow Mountains super easy.
