Short walk to train station. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. However, if you stay on the side facing the elementary school, it can get noisy.

A 5 - 10 mins walk to a very big shopping mall - Big City. The staff could be friendlier

It's a bit noisy as it is right across a primary school. Staff were nice but does not seem really friendly.
The room was quite clean and the corridor from the elevator to the room was also clean and well lit.
There is a good variety of small restaurants or hawker food stalls around the hotel.

Sol Hotel Hsinchu is an incredible value. Room was spacious and comfortable, staff was outstanding, great included breakfast, and prime location.
