We arrived exhausted to the hotel because we had a night bus. Suddenly when we were in our room for a while we realized that there was a problem with the main light, it won’t get off. We told the staff later about it and they said that they knew about this problem. If you knew about it why did you gave us this room? We decided that we leave this place to another hotel although we paid for this night, we couldn’t stay there and sleep like this with the light in our faces. The service was horrible, and even though we told the stuff about it, it didn’t seem like they care about it.

Close to night market, if not too picky

Location of the hotel is good and the staff were quite friendly. Unfortunately, there was no real hot water, the shower leaked all over the bathroom, they did not provide any towels in the room, and the sheets were stained.

Avoid this hotel

The hotel looks like it was good at one time. The rooms and bathrooms are large. But overall the hotel is not cared for. There are missing fixtures, stained linens and ill fitted windows in the room. Outside the room is worse. We stayed one night but there were dirty linens on the ground floor landing and dirty dishes in the hall of our floor the entire time we were there. The real disturbance came the next morning taking the stairs (no elevator so these stairs are main access) to breakfast. There were hundreds of dead flies covering the stairs and third floor hallway (no exaggeration). The restaurant, on the fourth floor, was a scene from Twin Peaks- disturbing. We left our provided breakfast untouched and opted to pay for breakfast elsewhere as the atmosphere was so unappetizing. The management obviously doesn’t care and it shows in the staff attitude as well. Just a bit of care and this could be a good hotel.

A good hotel within reasonable walking distance from the lake and night market. Friendly helpful staff Clean comfortable room. Would stay again.

Very helpful staff in arranging taxi and bus ticket. Only inconvenient to go to another hotel for breakfast and restaurant not open for dining.

Stayed in a family room with 2 double beds. Ate in the restaurant and had breakfast there too. A large room with little character and uninspiring food.

One night booked through hotels.com. Spontaneaously extended by anbtoher night. Changed room. First room nicer overall, but equipped identically. Hotel staff was very valuable in organizing my activities and transportation around beautiful Hpa An. Overal great stay.
