The property location is convenient. There was an odor around the entire hotel, however not the in the rooms. The rooms look like they were recently updated which was nice. The bathroom in our room did look like it could use some aesthetic maintenance.

Room was renovated and nice. However there was nobody else in the parking lot at 11:30 at night when we arrived. Had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come back to the front desk. Sliding window didn’t lock in the room. Quite a spooky stay for two women traveling alone.

I booked a room a day before Thanksgiving it was the only place that I could find that had a room open. When I arrived there was nobody in the parking lot. I was the only person there. Staff is really quiet and I didn't feel like I got a warm welcome. The whole hotel has renovations being done..there's no elevator. It was freezing in the hotel. It was like 20° outside and it felt like 20° inside. I have to say that I was okay with the room. It had heat but I had to lug all my luggage upstairs via stairs because no elevator. The only thing I really like about the place is the location. I asked for a receipt and I was printed an empty form so I don't know. Lots and lots of improvements need to be made.

Building had no heat when we walked in , no other guest at all , furniture pilled up in other room.

We had already called a technician to resolve the issue, and in the meantime, we placed a smaller temporary unit to maintain comfort in the lobby. We understand how important a warm welcome is, and we are working to ensure that this type of issue does not occur again.As for the furniture you observed in the hallway, please be assured that these rooms are not guest rooms. They are being used as storage for old furniture that we are in the process of disposing of or donating. The door to these rooms was left open because we had cleaning activities ongoing, which may have caused some confusion. We apologize for any impression this may have left.We also want to assure you that your guest room, which you checked into early at 11:00 to attend the Penn State football game, was equipped with a brand-new PTAC unit. We liked the new update to the room - tv, lights and the room was clean. We appreciated the water at check in and access to donuts/soda in common lobby.

The owner was only one at desk. Many many people in lobby waiting for HOURS for their room. It was 10 at night and our room was not going to be ready for HOURS. I have asked for years now for a refund because we had to leave and stay somewhere else. To no avail. Even Expedia wouldn't give refund. This place was dirty and unkept. Looked like it was in foreclosure. Expedia should be ashamed to offer this disgusting establishment

Poor customer service by Hotels.com
