The property is ok it's just that when people who live here for awhile fall on hard times there is no compassion or consideration you cannot even get a free night no matter how long you stay or how much you spend and that is really not good It tells a lot

My room smelled. The bathroom was unventilated and dirty. The bed was lumpy and old.
My room key stopped working after Day 1 of a two-day stay. The humorless lady at the front desk told me that my phone's close proximity to my key nuetralized it but what actually happened was that the desk guy when I first arrived only programmed my key for one day instead of two. They weren't honest enough to tell the truth.

This LaQuinta was very disappointing. The smell of the entire hotel was very unpleasant. In the room it was even worse. The upkeep of the hotel was not up to par either. It is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel but there is still a very potent smoking scent with a mix of a dirty and unclean smell. The breakfast was limited— not many choices at all. There was a small roach that ran across the sink while I was doing my makeup. And, they also let us check in with a half used roll of toilet paper without a new one on standby. When going to a hotel, you want something that feels better than your own home. Here, that was absolutely not the case. I could not wait to check out as soon as we got there. The ONLY reason I’m giving an overall two star rating is because they did not require a deposit for incidentals or my small dog. Other than that, I would have given a one star rating with NO shame.
