The area was kinda scetchy, there was even a covered up bullet hole on the door. However, the place was nice and there wasn’t any problems. Nothing stood out, good nor bad, good for the price.

Didn’t get to stay the the property due also was going to get charged though I paid already

My room was clean with the exception of some soap & lotion packets that had something spilled on them. AC worked perfectly, but no decent blanket. There was a very thin duvet on the bed that wasn't much more than the sheet. The bed was AWFUL! They had the hardest mattress I've ever encountered anywhere in this room. I slept very little & got up in extreme pain due to back issues. To be honest, I think without back problems I'd have still been in pain. No carpet in the rooms, so it was nice to see the floors were very clean. Remote for tv was broken & pretty gross (but we all know that they always are lol).
Staff was very nice. Parking lot was mostly fenced in, so even though the area felt quite unsafe - my vehicle was not messed with. Upon leaving my room for the evening, there was a couple standing outside nonchalantly smoking weed. Houston has a large homeless community & there were a lot of them hanging out in the area. I wanted to walk to the convenient store 2 buildings down, but didn't feel safe doing so. A couple of guys appeared to be "tripping" on something, so we kept our distance.
So... all that being said, I probably would not stay here again. It was OK for just one night, but any longer would've been a deal breaker.

The stay was ok .. but we had someone handicap with us and they refused to give us a room on the lower level.
We were loading up to leave, but couldn’t even get all our stuff out and the cleaning lady was already in the room with our stuff still in there. Very pushy and disrespectful

The hotel was perfect for the short stay, just houston that’s kinda scary and it’s in kinda a bad area.
