Great location. Very nice view on the water side. We booked this place partially for this reason. But “no room with water view for what you paid for”. “Not tomorrow either. That’s not how it works”. We booked it from Expedia. Would suggest to specify what kind of the rooms to get with what price. No room service the second day, not even trash pick up. The toilet was backed up the night we checked in. We run out of body wash the second day.
Hot breakfasts is good. Even different items for the 2 days we stayed. Staff friendly.

Great location! Very clean! The food in the restaurant was also very good. Room location on bottom floor next to the parking lot was a disappointment (when expecting a view of the water).

The room, breakfast, and staff were excellent but the parking was problematic in that there simply wasn't enough. The towns of Houghton and Hancock were interesting and the mining history of the area was fascinating.
Napoleon at the front desk was accommodating and thoughtful even when he was the only person at the desk on a very busy weekend. 10 stars for him!!
