Treated Like Royalty

Our stay here was truly magical. The resort grounds, staff, facilities, and food are hands-down the best we experienced in Sri Lanka. The spa is a must where Lina and her colleagues will pamper you like royalty. It was so very difficult to leave. We are already making plans to return.

Perfect place to stay if visiting Anuradhapura

Lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens. Attentive staff.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It’s spoiled us at the start of a 3 week trip to Sri Lanka. Our next hotel was a real let down after Ulagalla!!

Idyllic setting near to sites
Posted 6 Dec 2018 on HotelsUnbelievably charming hotel with lovely staff and owners who are very keen to look after their guests well. Delicious breakfasts and food. Used as base to visit Anuradhapura and Polonnawura and to do elephant safari. You won’t be disappointed - idyllic setting.

The property is located about 4 hours north of Colombo inna beautiful, tranquil environment. Upon arrival, we were greated by the staff and GM of the hotel and participated in a Welcome ritual. Check-in was fast and we were driven to our chalet with a buggy. The hotel only has 20 chalets (more new ones opening in Jan 2019) which are separated from each other, so guest can enjoy the nature in peace. The chalets are huge with a separate living room, bedroom and bathroom. Each chalet has 2 bikes, which guests can use to access the amenities around the property. Unfortunately we only stayed for 1-night; however the experience was quite unique. We got an aromatherapy massage, which felt amazing after a 30+ hour trip. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, which was expensive; however it was worth it as the quality of food and service was world class! The staff is all about making sure each guest is treated like a queen/king and leaves with an experience/memory of a lifetime! I highly recommend this hotel and woukd definitely stay here the next time I come to Sri Lanka!
