Older motel, but fairly clean and comfortable. Beds a little bit dusty, but okay for the price.

Staff needs to be more engaged in managing the property and dealing with minimizing/reducing noise.

This property is conveniently located next to the Mammoth Site and Museum. There is also a fantastic Mexican restaurant on the adjacent property.
Perfect getaway weekend for the annual bison round up at Custer State Park!

There are 2 ways of evaluating this hotel. If you’re a single guy and don’t want to pay $200/night — it’s maybe acceptable. If you’re anything else and have standards other than price - may look elsewhere. Positive: it’s safe and cheap. On the negative: lobby feels like you’re in East Europe, the room smelled - WE cleaned the AC air filter, the bed had a sheet and blanket from 1985, and breakfast was simply checking the box that they had breakfast — all carbs, nothing hot but a waffle maker and toast where the only topping was a giant peanut butter jar 7” tall and 5” knives - which meant all our knuckles were “familiar”. Again, I get its hard to find help in remote USA for minimum wage; if you’re on a budget this place will probably check the box; if you have anyone in your party with standards and/or consider - 2-star hotel camping — everyone will be happier paying more elsewhere.
