Beautiful property surrounded by trails to hike in the forest. Really unique lodge we were very glad we stayed. Plus was the spa and lovely outdoor hot tubs.
While the meals were okay but not great, we enjoyed the social hour and meeting the other guests. Lodge rooms were smaller than expected.
Beware that it is a long windy drive in and out of the hotel.

The property is off the beaten track - be prepared to travel for about 20 minutes on a dirt road after you make the main turnoff

If I die and go to heaven I hope it is just like treetops. We had an amazing five days. Phillippe the chef is a master at his craft and gave us meals that in my opinion would not be out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Ross was the perfect host and seemed to predict our every need. In short it was a perfect stay

I honestly do not have the words to describe just how serene this location is - to say it is gorgeous or beautiful doesn't quite capture the entire essence of it.
Excellent food and accommodations. The staff was excellent, making sure that we were completely taken care of even by taking us to our next location (after we checked out) when our taxi was very late in showing up. If you have the time in the morning, do yourself a favor and take the tour of the estate - it is breathtaking with stags coming right up to the vehicle!

Honeymoon at Treetops
Posted 25 Oct 2019 on HotelsTreetops is truly a once in a lifetime experience. The staff is extremely friendly and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of. The views and surrounding bush are absolutely jaw-dropping. The villas are warm and inviting as is the lodge itself. The estate offers many different activities so you don’t have to leave to have a relaxing or exciting stay. This is the place to stay if you want to be pampered off the grid in a little slice of paradise.
