We stayed in the William Francis room which had a working fireplace! Spacious, clean and beautiful decor with a very cozy and historical feel. Great conversation over a homemade breakfast and such a lovely and accommodating host. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

This is a nice place with lovely grounds. It's a real B&B in that you're expected to eat a specific breakfast at a specific time while the owner regales you with the story of his life. If this is your thing you'll be happy. I personally prefer a little more autonomy but the hotels were full.

Posted 22 Jul 2019 on Hotels5 stars for service! The housekeepers were welcoming and communicative. My bf and I checked out early to go hiking, and we’re pleasantly surprised that Maria, the housekeeper, packed goodie bags for us on our hike (trail mix, muffins, scones, homemade pineapple cookies). Thank you for going above and beyond!

Maria was very gracious and helpful and her cookies were delicious. We enjoyed meeting Bill, the owner and listening to his stories. The room was comfy. We felt right at home.
