"Just far enough outside of the city to be really natural and not touristy. It’s a brisk 15 minute walk from the train station maybe 20. It’s on a rather long pier with incredible views of the water and some of the wind that goes with it, but it was worth it!"

"Everything was great. The room, the location, and the easy access to renting the bikes. Only downfall was receiving only 1 roll of toilet paper for 1 week for 4 people. As well as the walk from the hotel to the train station was about 20 minutes of a walk and in the night there’s no lights besides your phone lights. "

"Brilliant apartment for a city break holiday. We stayed in the 4 bed two level studio apartment. It was located up 4 flights of steep windy Dutch stairs but you swiftly got the hang of how to navigate them. It was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. There was only the bathroom mirror which sometimes made getting ready a challenge. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "

Rooms had their linen changed but the living room and kitchen was pretty dirty still.. bathroom and toilet were good.. if you have a lot of luggage, suggest ask for a ground floor apartment as the lift was not working and the stairs were tight and steep.. "Fantastic stay would stay again. The only improvement would be cleanliness as the microwave was dirty and no sheets were provided for the sofa bed. However they do have an essential cupboard which you can help yourself to stuff that is needed. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam. The apartment was located very conveniently for museums and galleries, as well as the proximity to the tram and restaurants. The neighbourhood is also a lovely place to wander about and felt safe during the evening (though, you take your life in your hands crossing the cycle lane). The owners are clearly still working on the property as there was a lot of banging and hammering at 7am which may not be ideal if you've had a late night or like to sleep in....

"Eden Hotel is a gem in Amsterdam. We loved our stay very much! We flew into AMS, took the train to Central Station and walked about 20 mins or so to the hotel which is right on one of the canals. "My stay at the Ruby Hotel was great. The ambience is so chic and modern. The staff were friendly and welcoming always willing to the help. There was also a restaurant/bar with small bites in the hotel which I didn’t get to try but the menu was always provided when asked. Metro was a 5 min walk, about 3 dinning restaurants within a 5-10min walk. Very quiet and clean area with a lovely marina near by. Just a 10 min car ride to the AMS airport you cannot beat that. About a 15-20 min car ride tops...

"My stay at the Ruby Hotel was great. The ambience is so chic and modern. The staff were friendly and welcoming always willing to the help. There was also a restaurant/bar with small bites in the hotel which I didn’t get to try but the menu was always provided when asked. Metro was a 5 min walk, about 3 dinning restaurants within a 5-10min walk. Very quiet and clean area with a lovely marina near by. Just a 10 min car ride to the AMS airport you cannot beat that. About a 15-20 min car ride tops to the center city attractions. But my only concern was housekeeping as they didn’t do a throughly room clean. "

"Eden Hotel is a gem in Amsterdam. We loved our stay very much! We flew into AMS, took the train to Central Station and walked about 20 mins or so to the hotel which is right on one of the canals. The lobby is extremely modern, filled with various plants and very warm which was nice (as we visited recently in the winter months). It was VERY cold outside so we were always happy to get back to the hotel after a long day of exploring and walking around! It's so centrally located, closest to Rembrandt Square but Dam Square is a very short walk away as well. One other thing I'd like to mention is their water pressure is insane, I don't think I've experienced that at a hotel before. The beds were so comfortable! We stayed in one of the rooms that had the wallpaper / blue corset image behind the bed... in comparison to our friends room, we were on the upgraded side of the building so I'd keep that in mind when booking! You cannot go wrong with this hotel. I'd absolutely stay here again!"
