Unfortunately, due to our status as a monumental building in the middle of the city, we are dependent on the parking facilities and bicycle storage offered by the city of Hoorn. Cant fault it for the price. Unusual, clean, tidy, great location. Was perfect for our trip to Hoorn.

Very cool but ended with loud party

Cool concept, nicely delivered. Clean comfortable rooms great breakfast. However please note that the restaurant downstairs is separate ownerships. On the Wednesday I was there, a wedding reception took place in the restaurant and the music was very loud until after midnight. I repeatedly called to the front desk and they were awesome (even though I called every 10 minutes). Apparently the DJ did not want to turn down the music and the staff were somewhat powerless. The staff informed me that many of the guests complained that night. I was able to get 1 night refunded. Don’t stay here unless you ask for the agenda of the restaurant! I checked out on a Thursday morning and there was another party scheduled for Friday.

Amazing stay

Was a really nice hotel in Horn, everything was perfect and breakfast was brilliant. Only issue no USB's for charging tablet or mobile on plugs

There was no natural light in our room. The "window" opened onto the corridor, as with all other rooms. Naturally everybody kept the curtains closed the whole time, or else other guests walking down the corridor saw into the room. The room was equipped as expected but was "atmospherically" lit. A head torch would have been useful. Consequently, my scores for cleanliness etc are low as I could not see. Similarly eco friendliness is low as we had all the lights on all the time. The restaurant was closed for Kingsnight party. So we had dinner at de Bourgondier which was terrific.

Vanwege de monumentale waarde van het pand is het niet mogelijk om ramen naar buiten te hebben. Wij werken met een dimsysteem in de kamer. De lampen kunnen hoog, maar kunnen ook weer lager. Wij willen u dit graag uitleggen de volgende keer in de kamer. Wij snappen dat u dit als vervelend heeft kunnen ervaren, onze oprechte excuses daar voor.Desalniettemin hopen wij dat u een fijn verblijf bij ons heeft gehad en dat u heeft genoten van Hoorn.Met vriendelijke groet,Lianne - Hotel Manager
