We loved staying at this elegant hotel! The public spaces are beautiful and our room was nicely decorated.
Beautiful historic hotel along the Columbia River with beautiful grounds which include a waterfall into the Columbia! A great combination of history and just enough modern amenities which made our stay terrific. We really enjoyed cocktails and the mushroom raviolis at the on site restaurant!
There was no free breakfast. There was coffee and biscotti which was excellent. Beautiful river view from our vintage king bed room with the waterfall right outside.

Wonder property. Grounds were beautiful and room was great. Highly recommend
What a magical place to stay. It's nice to listen to the waterfall, day and night. So relaxing. There is live music on the weekends. Beds are super comfy. I like the historical hotel, even the old-time elevator. All the artwork is old, a reminder of yester years. Staff is very nice. The grounds are well kept with resident ducks happily enjoying the river that runs through the property. Lovely place to stay. It's on my list of top places to run away for a weekend. The town of Hood River is nice to explore as well.
A lovely find close to I84 and for travelers going to visit Mt Hood.. The hotel has an old world charm with staff operated elevators and particularly curated hallways and rooms. The Christmas decor was soft and comforting and the amazing piano at night elevated the experience. Add in the views from outside, and it makes for a place that I will definitely come back to
Loved this property. I felt it needed to be updated. Even so it was a beautiful Hotel and the staff was incredible. We had a hamburger in the lounge, all very good
