This wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever stayed at, but it certainly wasn’t the best. Cute idea and theme, convenient location, but not very well maintained. Everyone who worked there was very polite and accommodating. However, the property could use an upgrade. Pool loungers are old and torn, tiles were missing from the hot tub and dirty, I only saw the pool cleaned once during a two week stay, in two weeks I had to ask somebody to actually clean my room instead of just giving me clean linens and even then their idea of clean is subpar, all of that I could forgive but the Wi-Fi was the worst offender. This was a working vacation, and the Wi-Fi was horrendous and completely unreliable, which made it impossible to work effectively. I would highly recommend this to young adults who want a party because that’s the vibe at this hotel, and maybe even honeymooners, but definitely not for people who are working out of town and for young families. Definitely on a plus side, the valet was amazing service.

Very close to bus stop for Honolulu airport. Very close to Waikiki beach, yoga class every second Saturday morning and pool party every Saturday afternoon

All rooms had either a patio or balcony. How warming and welcoming the staff is.

The staff are the Best! Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. They really took care of us. The vibe at White Sands is the Aloha Spirit.

No elevator, stained carpet, balcony door hard to open, shower was high off the floor with no hand holds, no security lock, no street parking. Traffic is horrible
