Location was great as far as shopping with Ala Moana Center across the street and many walkable restaurants; but also many homelessness nearby. Unfortunately I don’t think you can get away from that in the area. Overall hotel was good with a nice Mediterranean restaurant on site and beautiful pool. My one complaint was with housekeeping. Cups for coffee did not get replaced during the 3 nights we stayed and the water glasses were not clean. They were wiped down from the previous guest as evidenced by the smell and smear marks. It’s the little things that count. However, staff were all great and made our stay enjoyable.

Brand new hotel. Very clean. The front desk staff that I dealt with aren’t very friendly or approachable. Seemed like they weren’t happy to be there. So a bad first impression walking into the hotel on check in. The water pressure in my room was also very weak. Took longer than usual to shower in order to wash off the soap and shampoo due to the low pressure. 2/3 showers in the women spa facility was also broken. Overall, hotel was clean and located in a very convenient location. 20 mins walk to beach. Besides the front desk staff, everyone else seemed friendly.

Difficult to book the restaurant at the hotel through their QR code as we don’t know which time slots are available at booking. I understand later that we know the availabilities if we use external booking service like OpenTable. Hotel itself is clean but the service level is low.

Fantastic 5-night stay with my family. Clean, quiet, comfy beds. Close proximity to great shopping (Ala Moana Center), a complimentary shuttle service to Waikiki (5mins away), and great dining options. The hotel coffee shop, Lamill, serves superb coffee. Made use of the hotel’s outdoor pool several times, which was lovely and super well-kept. Staff are courteous and helpful. Laundry on premises was great. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a 5-star hotel, at half of the cost. If we ever visit Hawaii again, we will definitely stay here again.

The Resort and property is beautiful. It is very well maintained and we enjoyed the History of the islands displayed. However it was way over priced. We payed premium $ for four nights stay. $3700 for 2 queen beds and semi ocean view. The room was clean and it did accomodate us. It appeared to have been recently renovated however. The sink did not drain properly, our room was only restocked once and the light fixtures in both the room and hallway have cobwebs all over. Detail is everything. We also stayed for the buffet breakfast. $140 for 3 adults and 1 child. The only good thing was sitting in the patio area, the bacon and juices and there was very basic selection. I paid premium money and expected a premium breakfast and premium room service. All in all the facility is beautiful, Dukes restaurant was awsome, convenient shopping and the pool/beachfront is the best.

Nice hotel, very comfortable room with the exception of the worst water pressure I've experienced in a shower in a hotel of this standard. My room was not made up, three housekeeping carts were parked in the corridor outside my room.. but no sign of cleaning staff... the water/ice dispenser was out of order. Not good enough sorry, pretty unacceptable for a Marriot Hotel at this price point.

It’s a 4 star instead of 5! I didn’t see the wow factor. Room was very dusty. I developed rashes on my arm I don’t know if it was from the dust or washing my clothes in the washer and dryer or from the dog dander.I thought no animals were allowed and saw 2 dogs. I’m highly allergic to dog dander.

The property is new and very clean. Quiet location, the complementary shuttle to Waikiki is a big plus. The pool area is very nice but I do feel they need to add more sitting with umbrellas since it rains almost daily, also the bar needs more help during busy times. We had to wait like 30 minutes just to order one drink during peak time, I also would have liked to see more dining options. The laundry only had 2 washers and 2 dryers adding a couple more would be nice also. But overall it’s a great hotel that I’m definitely going back to.
