Only ok and no evening food
Posted 17 May 2023 on HotelsIt has no restuarant or bar meals and nearest pub/eatery is miles away. Rooms are clean and recently painted but otherwise tired. Plumbing is a bit suspect.

Thanks for your review Simon. We recently purchased the hotel which was very run down and had been neglected for years. We're currently refurbishing it to a much higher standard including replacing the entire heating and hot water system (although this is still a work in progress!) As of this week we have just hired a Chef and are re-opening the Restaurant again on the 18th May.

No receptionist.
Overbearing landlord eventually appeared and gave me an unwanted lecture on the “best way” to make reservations.
Had to wait over 30 mins. to check out because he’d “popped not town”.
Had a job rousing him at 5 am when fire alarms went off.It was a false alarm blamed on spiders...happens “all the time” he said!

Weekend Break
Posted 13 Jul 2022 on HotelsWe stayed at home farm for a weekend break and were really pleased we did. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. Richard and his team are friendly attentive and strive to make sure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay... as for the Thai food, you really need to try it. It is amongst the best I have ever eaten.
We will definitely stay here again!

Richard as host was so welcoming and Nat’s Thai cooking just gorgeous. Our room was comfy and clean. A great stay, thank you!
