The photo in their ad for the property shows a large hot tub on the deck overlooking the bay and the mountains. Very nice so I booked it for two nights at $445 per night which is probably the most expensive place to stay in Homer. We checked in and were informed that you have to reserve the hot tub, and there is an additional charge to use it. That is absurd. The coffee in the room is Instant Coffee, but they do have real coffee in the lobby at no charge. Overall way too expensive for what you get.

Gene, We appreciate you staying with us and taking the time to leave a review. It reads like there may have been a miscommunication or misunderstanding. Our hot tubs are always complimentary to Inn guests. We just request they be scheduled since they are also part of our fee-based thermal spa services. To help ensure ample availability and a high value experience for our Inn guests, we added a second large tub in advance of this summer. The majority of the time a guest wishes to use a hot tub, we are able to accommodate. I understand our staff attended to several other time-sensitive requests including laundry and helping make dinner reservations. The team enjoys making an extra effort to help guests make the most of their time in Homer and relax as they enjoy the world-class views from our oceanfront property.Again, I thank you for supporting our small, family owned business. We appreciate every guest, their feedback, and strive to provide an experience that is felt to be high value.
