Excellant assistance from staff. On the ocean with crashing waves. Glass door insulation very good at keeping wave noise out if sleeping. No air conditioning and toilet was small.

Rooms close to sea wall. Sounds of the waves are wonderful. Sunsets terrific. Loved their pool.

What a gem of a location! Listening to waves crash over the rocks at night was truly a memorable experience. I would have rated 5 stars but the rooms at this hotel do not have air conditioning, and there is no TVs in the rooms. There are two small windows on the entry door side of the room, but they are not large enough to allow for a decent cross breeze, so the rooms stay very warm at night, even with the ocean side glass doors all the way open. The hotel does provide a small fan, but this was not enough to keep us cool at night.

Most guests ok with that, they said keeping the glass sliding door open, letting the fresh trade winds cool the room is the charm of Hawaii.We are looking forward to seeing you next time. the higher floor is cooler,Mahalo
