Perfect place to stay if visiting Holmfirth - all the staff are wonderful and take care of you as soon as you walk through the door. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed both meals - again staff and service superb! The only negative was that our room was at the back of the property and the bars in the lane were rowdy until 1.30 am - so request a room at the front of the hotel to avoid this. Would definitely recommend and stay again without hesitation.

Brilliant food two nights in the restaurant. Excellent cooking for dinner and generous fine breakfasts.

I had a very small room but did the trick. There was no early check in option but gave a chance to wonder around town. Finding the car park using Google maps navigation was painful as there is a lot of road works and it is had to spot. Check out on a map first.
I had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were enjoyed and good to have some english classics.
