Five nights a week, the open-air stage of Hollywood Beach Theatre offers music and entertainment. This fun and casual beachside theater’s program is organized by the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort. Watch all types of bands playing for fans in their flip-flops in the evening.
Inspect the stage during the day and admire the mural of the sea, the sky and surrounding mountains embellishing the background. Several cafés and restaurants on the adjacent promenade are excellent lunch spots for lunch. Go for a swim in the Atlantic Ocean beside the theater, before a show at the venue.
Watch the sunset from the beach and head to the theater in your casual beachwear to enjoy the bands. The theater often has an eclectic lineup, with everything from reggae and rock to pop and Latin music. Note that several bands play fairly regularly on this stage, so you could catch your favorites here twice.
Look up at the stars on a clear night, as you listen to the music and dance with your friends on the promenade. Chat with the mix of locals and fellow visitors about the performances. After the show, head to one of the adjacent beach bars and have a few cocktails.
The stage puts on entertainment shows Wednesday through Sunday in the evenings, weather permitting. All concerts are open to the public for free. The Margaritaville Beach Resort, which manages the theater’s schedule, is on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. Check the entertainment program online.
The Hollywood Beach Theatre is on its namesake beach on the eastern shore of Hollywood. Take a bus to one of the stops backing the bay. You can also drive and leave your car in a metered street space. While you’re in the area, consider going to other nearby highlights such as Charnow Park, Hollywood North Beach Park and Harry Berry Park.
