"This place was so adorable and cozy. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to restaurants (Highly recomend The Flamingo for dinner) and the Rowdy Radish downstairs was great for coffee and breakfast. The building is obviously old, but it added a neat charm. The owners were very good with communication and very helpful. (Shoutout to CS!) Wonderful place, highly recommend. Will definitely stay again someday!"
"It is an absolutely lovely spot to relax… if there are no other guests staying. We were the only ones there the first night and it was beautifully quiet. The second night, not so much. Could hear every footstep above and people walking the halls and could hear conversations. Additionally, the first night, we could not figure out how to adjust the heat. By morning, it was 62 degrees in our rooms. We couldn’t find any extra blankets and the beddings were lightweight; better suited for summer. We had to borrow a space heater from the common area to warm up. We returned the space heater and went to our event. When we returned, the rooms were still comfortable. By morning, the rooms were so hot we had to crack open windows. I would recommend this venue for a family or group of friends but not for single room occupants as privacy was a concern. And, the heating issues also affected our rating."
"The pictures on the website are of their "new" standard rooms. Rooms that were not even available when we booked (per the front desk staff). The room they tried to give us was so tight that you had to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom. When we went to complain about the room size we were hesitantly "upgraded" to a deluxe room. The deluxe room was the room pictured on the website under standard rooms and was still smaller than a standard room in any other hotel I have ever stayed in. The website also says that the hotel is pet friendly, and does not specify that only certain rooms allow pets. The room we were put in was not pet friendly and they forced us to leave our dog in the truck overnight. Overall we had a terrible experience with this hotel, we over paid for the experience we had and we will absolutely not be going back, nor would we recommend this hotel to anyone. "
