A beautiful location with several buildings. The hallways are decorated and there are interesting pieces of Norwegian history here and there.

This hotel had the most comfortable bed and cleanest bed linen in all the hotels we have stayed in on our trip. The man at reception was extremely friendly as were the breakfast staff. The hotel is a great surprise with the history and the quality of the setup of everything. Our room was a basic but comfortable room. There is a small supermarket within 100metres. It is a tranquil location and would recommend.

Loved my stay here.
Posted 12 Oct 2023 on HotelsI stayed two nights at Sundvolden Hotel. The front office and restaurant staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay at this historic hotel. The breakfast spread was amazing as well.
