Only 10 minute walk to the stunning Champagne Beach - well worthwhile to visit. Costs 500vt per person.
We stayed at the Lonnoc Beach Bungalows about 8 years ago. They are much the same as then.
There are more places to stay now along the same stretch of beach, and 2 other places to eat.
The wifi wasn't working, and there was a problem with the water to the bungalows - often not working, and we had a rat eating our bananas at night.
Other than that, a restful time.

Seriously carbon neutral stay
Posted 19 Oct 2018A very basic family bungalow with no mains electricity but this is not why you stay here. The beach is amazing and the staff lovely. We snorkelled and used the kayaks. The restaurant is linked to a hospitality school so great food (expect to spend around 1500vt per meal). There is an office to charge devices and it all runs on solar power. 10 min walk to champagne beach where we snorkelled in pristine coral and with turtles. Owned by a local family - a place to get away and seriously relax. We stayed for four nights and would go back. No amenities in room to enable self catering.

It is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The beach, swimming and snorkeling is first rate and it is only a 5 minute walk to Champagne Beach. The food was really good and the staff super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is clean and right on the beach. There is no hot water and only solar power. This was the only drawback of the whole trip. Would definitely go back.

Nice but not what we paid for

Pros: Location
Restaurant
Cons: Room comfort- mattresses did not fit the bed
Location: Champagne beach
Local village
Restaurant on the property
Private beach
This is a great place for students/ people on a budget if you are willing to "sleep in the rough" for a few nights. We found it well worth the difficulties because of the amazing location and price.
Amazing view
Personal beach
Local bus drivers available daily
Staff were very friendly and willing to help
Kayaks available for use (free)
BUT
No room wifi
No coffee/tea makers in the rooms
Mattress did not fit the bed
Owner did not know we were coming even though we booked, paid, and specified late check in
No hot water
