We had a great experience at Nyati Safari Lodge, from check-in to check-out. We stayed for six days and had a wonderful time. All the staff were friendly and polite, and the game drives were both knowledgeable and enjoyable. We did four game drives with Peter, which were exciting adventures as we searched for animals. Also, Lux and Henry were great and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, and everything was well-organized.
There are a few areas that could use some attention and improvement:
-The outdoor restaurant was difficult to enjoy during our stay because of windy and cool weather. It would be helpful if they provided heaters for such conditions.
-During the buffet, I noticed some guests refilling their plates without using new ones, which could pose a hygiene risk, especially since many guests were coughing and sneezing.
-It would be great if they offered hot drinks like cappuccinos or lattes. When I asked if I could buy one, I was told they didn’t have any, though a coffee machine could easily provide this option.
Overall, I highly recommend Nyati Safari Lodge to anyone seeking adventure along with a luxury stay.

Loved the Nyati Safari Lodge!!!!
Posted 5 Jan 2023 on HotelsMy 30 year old daughter and I had an amazing three days at the Nyati Lodge, went on 6 game drives, saw all kinds of animals and were able to take the time to observe them in their natural habitat. The guides were extremely knowledgeable about the area, the animals and the flora and lodge is beautiful, well-equipped and very well organized. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful and the food was excellent.
We flew into Hoedspruit and the lodge arranged transport to and from the airport. We would unequivocally recommend Nyati as a place for a true African safari experience.

Posted 10 Jan 2020 on HotelsHotel pode ser no maximo um 3 estrelas. Região complicada para quem quer ver o big 5! Tem que buscar muito os animais e alguns rangers parecem desconhecer.
Comida somente na hora que o hotel oferece e bem padrão.
Além disso, devido à presença grande de um grupo de Dinamarqueses (e dono do hotel ser um) muitas explicações eram dadas no idioma deles (somente) e com bandeiras do país. Um pouco desreispeitoso com um numero grande de Brasileiros presentes.

I would like to explain the Danish flags, when the Scandinavians celebrate something like a birthday it is tradition for them to do so with the flags, this is with Danish, Swedish and Norwegian guest. It is in no means to be disrespectful to our other guest. We try our very best to celebrate or our Nationalities with their own traditions. Hope this explains it a little.

Impeccable service- safaris and meals included and excellent. The villa was huge with our own pool and fire pit. You can see all sorts of wild life from your back deck including elephants and buffalo

Idyllic place, wonderful experience
Posted 25 Jun 2018Nyatti went above and beyond all around for us. We were on our honeymoon and were treated to an amazing welcome in the form of gifts and decorative roses. The staff were incredible, especially the guides - Azequiel was our regular game driver and was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and able to seek out the animals at will. We saw two lions up close on our first trip - amazing!! The food was also incredible as was our lodgings. Thank you Nyatti!! Hope to be back soon.

Horrible stay! I'd never go back there and would recommend anyone with ANY special requirements to not go there either. Despite of several emails with the staff before arrival telling them of my dietary requirements, I was brought out all meals with either Pork (which I don't eat as my religious belief) or onions (which I am severely allergic to). It wasn't once, it was every single meal for the night I stayed there. To add to that, after a long day at the game drive, when I got to my room, the shower in the room did not have any hot water. My husband and I spent almost an hour and a half waiting for someone to come fix it and when we finally got tired of waiting (at 10pm), we asked them to just come in the morning when we were on our early morning 5am game drive. Being the inconsiderate staff and management they are, someone knocked at our door at 11:35 pm to come in and fix it. We had made sure to call them and tell them that we're sleeping so make sure nobody comes, they didn't care. The guys kept knocking until we woke up and opened the door. They came in and out several times until they finally fixed it at 1am. We finally slept at 1:30am and woke up at 4:30 am for the game drive. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

I am saddened by the fact that you did not enjoy your stay at Nyati. Please rest assured that no feedback we receive are ever ignored. We constantly strive to perfect our guest experience and even though we have entertained 37 000 guests over the last twenty years we learn and evolve every day. With respect to the special dietary requirements we have implemented a new system and procedure to do our best to avoid a similar occurrence.
Unfortunately the entire camp was without water for a couple of hours that evening. Once it was brought to our attention, our investigation revealed that our main water supply pump had broken down. We worked tirelessly into the night to replace the pump. Unfortunately I was in the bush replacing the pump and never received the message that you did not want to be notified once the problem was resolved.
