This is a nice hotel in a quiet area. Everyone was friendly and spoke good English. The place is well maintained and very clean. The rooms are not fancy but nice and comfortable. They have a nice old world charm which makes it more interesting.

Very enjoyable stay

REASONABLE BUT ROOM FOR IMPROVMENT

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities within the room
The bath towels were very small
No disposable shower caps were provided

Romantic Route Stay

Old hotel but updated

Room Smelled like Sewer
Posted 25 Jul 2016 on HotelsWe stayed at the hotel because it is close to where my extended family lives. The hotel is on main street of the town. Parking was easy, the food is good, and the service is nice, but the rooms are very old and the bathroom smelled so bad of sewer that we showered at my families home and had to close the door every time we used the toilet or the whole room smelled. Our room also faced the garden, which sounded great, but it's also where everyone goes to smoke, so when we opened the window (to get rid of the sewer smell) we ended up being overwhelmed with smoke instead.
We're from the USA so I know we are spoiled when it come to hotel expectations, but we won't stay here again.
