Was there to meet friends on one of the Sydney to Hobart yachts.....unbeknownst to me on booking this was a real yachties haunt! Loved the atmosphere, loved restaurant and bar, my booked accommodation way better than imagined whole week stay exceeded expectations! Would definitely stay again.

Character filled building with lots of original features and a great location in Battery Point. The atmosphere with the crews arriving after the Sydney to Hobart was a lot of fun.. it is a pub so don’t expect it to be quiet all the time.

Rooms are very small and the bathroom is hard to use as the doors hit

The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.
The meals were wounderful, the best meals i have had in a long time.
Will definitely stay again when visiting Hobart

Reception not manned on arrival...under new mgt...lets hope for an improvement in upkeep..good bar though

I love the Shipwrights Arms. It is a fine hotel with a great sense of history. Battery Point is beautiful and you are right in the middle of this lovely place!

Great place , easy to access and parking. Disappointing that there was a very noisy refrigeration unit that cut in and out at night Not enough to keep you awake but enough to be annoying.
