Great place stay, very close to train st. We had a suite room which was very comfortable for two people. Bed and shower was great and the staff exceptional.

We were initially enamored with the lobby and waiting area, only to be disappointed by the rest of the hotel. Bath towels were frayed, no one came to clean the rooms despite our request the second day, and worse of all, there was a gross puddle of yellow liquid (urine?) in the elevator for a few hours another night. We also tried booking a tour through the hotel and was initially encouraged to pay cash and “go under the table” with one of the employees. We ended up booking at the front desk only to be shaken down for more money after we had already gone on the tour bc “they had quoted the wrong price.” Extremely unprofessional, and left a terrible taste in our mouth. We were trying to avoid booking scams by going through the hotel only to find out that apparently that’s not safe either. Do better, Meritel.

Lovely Property, the staff were amazing!! The only feedback I would have is that they need to have some shade for the pool

A very nice hotel on the edge of the Old Quarter and close to the modern centre. Extremely nice and helpful staff that make all the difference. Excellent breakfast and very nice rooms. They also offer a range of very nice tours.
