This hotel was fine for staying in the old quarter. Nothing fancy, but the staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable. Could hear the traffic beeping outside, but I'm not sure if you can get away from that at any hotel! Convenient for walking around to many of the spots we wanted to see.

I stayed at this hotel for a few days in the old quarter area of Hanoi, I enjoy the location because it was very close to the train street and other local attractions, the room and Hotel was very comfortable and the hotel provided basic essentials and services and an adequate breakfast as well. The water pressure in my room was inconsistent. Other than that the majority of my stay was very satisfactory.. also the staff did an exceptional job of setting up my travel tours and airport transfer which were excellent tours from excellent companies and provided meaningful memories during my stay here in Hanoi.

While booking tours or anything's they weren't explaining or telling the options. The three tours I have booked with them I was charged doubled the price each time. I never stay or book any tour with these guys

Subtle grifter here. Be careful if you choose this hotel. It turns out they have 2 properties. All the pics of the lobby amenities and views are of the nice property (where breakfast is served) We overpaid for a city viewwe didn’t get. They way they had their money is upon check in (after a 16 hour flight and you are tired) the present you with a bill in VND even though you res reserved the room in CAD dollars: They pray on the trust and excitement of new arrivals. If you ask any questions about your room after the fact nobody speaks English suddenly. It was a disappointing way to start our trip as we paid top dollar (way over market) about $325 CAD when our room was worth maybe $200. I blame the management for this as they train the staff. On the positive side the staff here is lovely and the property the advertise on the internet is lovely although overpriced on the market. It’s too bad our introduction to Vietnam with this company was being misled, as it set a bad tone for our arrival. That being said the $375 or so CAD they overcharged us for the stay won’t affect our trip or lives. It’s just not any fun to get taken advantage of. The reason we know they have a very nice primary property is that is where breakfast is served. We walked out a back alley building where we stayed, to a beautiful heritage building on a primary road. I booked a city view based on the pics from this property. Overall Vietnam is a great country with lovely people. Just be careful of
