You can also spend a weekend or a longer holiday in Hjerting exploring the region. You can go to Esbjerg and see the fascinating Mennesket ved Havet (Men at Sea), a sculpture that looks out onto sea.
It is easy to get to Esbjerg on the motorway if you are coming from the west. If you are coming from the north, for example Billund Airport, which is about an hour away, take road 20.
