I booked a smoking room by mistake. The staff promptly switched the room to non-smoking one. Thanks so much for your kind response. Saved my son from bad allergies.

Clean, quiet, and close to the station
Posted 28 Apr 2024 on HotelsThis hotel is well situated, about 400 meters from the Katsuta station. We came to see the flowers at Hatachi Seaside Park and fee that the hotel was a good choice due to its proximity to the train station and the park. It is about 15 minutes by bus or taxi to the park. The hotel is clean and staff are incredibly helpful, as is the Japanese custom and standard in my experience anywhere in this fine country! Travelers used to Western style hotels should be aware that the pillows are quite flat, which is a very Japanese style, and the room and the bed are very small. Overall, it was a clean and quiet stay.

The staff were very kind. The hotel in very close to the station and a few bus stops. My single person room was a great size, only thing was I could kinda hear other people on the floor. Aside from that it was a good stay.

This hotel is conveniently located close to the Katsuta train station. It seems quite new and is very clean and well-maintained. All the staff are helpful and very friendly (note: I don't think they speak very much English). The lobby is pretty small, but usually there are not too many people around. All in all, we thought it was a terrific value for the money (which we especially appreciated because we had to get three rooms for our family). And they kindly reserved rooms next to each other for us.
The complimentary breakfast buffet was great -- wide selection of fresh, tasty Japanese and Western options, even things like curry rice and miso soup. The only negative is that the rooms are very small, even by Japanese standards -- even two people in a room is a tight squeeze (with luggage) if it's for more than a night or two. But we would definitely stay again -- it's probably one of the best options in Hitachinaka.
