"Close to"-hotel

We choose the hotel because it is close to our shinkansen arrival and airport bus departure. All trams also starts at the railway station. Interesting for us was the free breakfast and it is japanese style which surprised us.

Ok if you need a cheap stay

Helpful and friendly staff. Usual tokoyo inn hard beds and pillow, unfortunately only one elevator in this building so expect to wait up to 5 mins to get up and down.

The complimentary Japanese breakfast was fantastic especially if you go early. Pleasant memories of many dishes my mom use to make. Laundromat was clean and convenient. I would definitely return here when I’m back in Hiroshima.

We really like the Toyoko Inn chain. Free breakfast included. The amenities are very good. Just be careful when booking, the smoking rooms are really for smokers, a lot of cigarette smell and it seems that the whole floor is for smokers.They kept our bags pre check-in and post check-out.

The hotel was decent but didn't leave a strong impression. The location was great, just a 5-minute walk from Hiroshima Station. The staff were helpful and professional. However, the breakfast didn't suit our tastes, and the items we preferred were depleted due to others taking more than their share, with no replenishment.

Excellent

The room is close to everything you need like restaurants, station, and shopping district. The room is clean and tidy, but comes with all the facilities you need. I believe they represent Japanese thoughtful hospitality really well. They offer a very cost-effective choice but comes out to be of very high quality. It normally comes with breakfast too which is delicious and changes every day. Front staff are also excellent, polite and actively offering help.

Very close to Hiroshima Station. Checking in is through a machine but there is staff to help you. They held onto our luggage when we arrived early and hours after checkout. They also called a cab for us. Good selection for (free) breakfast! Only downside is their beds are nearly rock hard. But I can sleep on anything after a long busy day. Rooms are tiny but we didn’t spend much time in them. This is our second stay in this hotel, due to cost and convenience.

The hotel's in a good location. It's close to Hiroshima Station, right across the Enko River towards the south. The complimentary breakfast was nice. The menu varies day-by-day, so it's not the same every day. There is only one elevator in the hotel. And because of that, there's a lot of waiting when many people are going to different floors. There was no space for my large checked luggage in my room. You'd have to awkwardly angle it on the narrow space on the floor, or simply unpack on the bed. Medium-sized and carry-on luggage will be okay. The window soundproofing needs some improvement. I was on the 9th floor facing the river, and still heard noises like driving cars and traffic signal sounds.

Nice room close to Hiroshima station

Nice and comfortable room, wifi is fast and the breakfast was good. The staff is very polite. Strategic position Only drawback was the lack of available plugs.
