We stayed in room 146 which was a thoroughfare and we didn’t not sleep a wink for the 2 nights we were there. Awful room to stay in so avoid, spoilt our weekend away.

Service not great Responsiveness was poor. Reception staff are not friendly, room service didn’t answer phone whole day. Breakfast colleagues were great.

The hotel was looking in need of a little TLC. Reception staff were fantastic, all but one Italian guy working the bar were average. and seemed like they didn't want to be there. Didn't use the spa facilities so cannot comment.

We stayed for one night as a family of three. On being checked in, we were told if we wanted to use the pool and gym facilities we would have to pay extra as we had booked through Expedia, this seemed a little non-inclusive and we were not quite sure why it mattered who you booked through! We found our room, there’s lots of them, and although dated was clean and functional. It was clear that some of the corridors had been decorated and some were still to be done. Breakfast was great with lots of options, plenty of seating and attentive staff. I myself used the gym and pool facilities. On paying an extra £10 to enter I was offered only a towel whilst ‘other’ hotel guests were given robes and towels, this felt really non-inclusive again! Not only did I have to pay extra, I then had less to show for it! Staff were all great and I assume are following protocols, but this system really made me feel I had less worth than the other guests. Gym and pool were great, I also treated myself to a massage and that was amazing. All areas were really clean and tidy.

I got to the Property and was told I had to pay an additional £30 to use the Swimming Facilities (£10 each adult and £5 each child). Absolutely DISGRACEFUL as i searched Hotel with pool and booked as I have done so ALL MY LIFE hur was told if you have booked through Expedia it doesn't include the swimming facilities. :(

Thanks Zahid, I apologise that you felt uninformed about the additional charges for use of the spa facilities, however these charges are detailed on both the hotel and OTA website and are also included within your confirmation and pre-stay e-mails.

Mould in the bathroom, stains on the bedside lamp. Dust all across the curtains, stains on the head board, wall lamp not working. everything in the room very outdated for an expensive room. Not much of a selective choice for teas and coffee’s no fridge. Free WiFi didn’t work at all had to use hot spot on my phone for the night. Overall experience wasn’t great. Room be okay for a quick pull up last minute and go but not for a check in for the afternoon to chill. Spa closed very early. The gym was all torn apart and ripped equipment. Dinners was expensive and ponsy had to order 2 meals. With the steak and chips it would feed a pigeon I’d probably pay realistically £30pp not £50

Our stay coincided with a wedding, so busy and noisy late into evening. Not to be helped, but Sunday morning fire alarm, which impacted service. Nice big room Now shower gel Nice staff
