"Great owner and staff. Friendly, helpful and pleasant in every way. Nice night life bar area and a great German style breakfast. Arrived too late for an evening meal but based on how busy the eating areas were I would expect the food to be excellent too. A must stay if anywhere in the area. We drove from Colmar and was well worth the drive."

"First time in Alsace, very impressed. The room is right in the centre of a beautiful town, lots of bars, restaurants on your doorstep. Lovely hike from the town up to St Ulrich Chateaux. Plenty of parking in nearby sidestreets overnight, but limited during the day. Wonderful breakfast, the lady who served us each day was very friendly and hospitable. A unique place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it and would happily stay again. "

"Lo hemos pasado genial. Este hotel familiar es llevado con mucho cariño y mimo. Todo es tal cual lo descrito en las fotos. El desayuno es muy bueno, con cosas caseras riquísimas, variedad de bollos, cereales, frutas. Y todos un encanto de personas que nos dieron consejos sobre qué lugares visitar. Si paso nuevamente por esta zona repetiré sin dudas, y lo recomiendo 100%. "

"This is a unique place to stay with old world charm and beautiful views. The room was small but big enough to have a bed area, table seating, small kitchen and couch. Shared patio and living room area are available. One misfortune is I am allergic to some scent r detergents and the one used here was particularly irritating. Even with that I would stay again!"

"This was the best room of our vacation and it is less than a mile from Europa Park. The room was quite large as it is an apartment with a full kitchen, patio, and had beds for 7 people. A double and a bunkbed in the bedroom plus a double and a sleeper sofa in the living room. It has a small patio where you immediately notice how meticulously the yard is maintained. It is beautiful. "Wir sind von Thierry herzlich empfangen worden, er hat sich Zeit genommen uns die Räumlichkeiten zu erklären und zu zeigen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sehr sauber und auch bequem Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich mit frisch gebackenen Köstlichkeiten. Die hausgemachten Marmeladen sind extrem gut. Wir hatten nichts zu beanstanden und würden die Unterkunft mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. "

"Near the Colmar train station and centre of bus network. Very clean, well-run and organized. Very good breakfast (extra). Front desk staff very helpful, fluent in English and German too. Indoor pool looked wonderful but I didn't use it. This property is most suited to families, and is self-catering with small stove, fridge, dishes, pots and dishwasher; there is no daily supply of towels or bedsheets. Excellent!

"This is a hotel as it should be! I had a very nice and quiet room with a comfortable bed, a good shower and a water kettle for tea. The staff was super friendly and helpful, plus there is parking just in front of the door. I didn't try the breakfast but it looked good too. All in all this was an excellent stopover during a long journey. Thank you! ✨"

Good Service, good value hotel and good location

"We have been staying at this Ibis twice a year for 16 years, and have always been happy with the service. It is our mid journey stop and we welcomed the addition a few years ago of the opportunity to have a hot meal too. We travel with our dog and have never had a problem in that respect. We will continue to use this hotel in the future. Its location next to the M83 is ideal as we just pull off the motorway, have a meal and a good sleep, and then drive straight back on to the motorway to continue our journey. "

Perfect location

"The location of hotel could not be more central. It's right in the middle of everything. The building is loaded with charm, and some quirks due to it's era, yet is has been modernized in the areas that are important - the bathrooms. We've stayed here several times and it is always our first choice when staying in Colmar."
