This is one of the best hotels, thanks to its excellent location. If you’re seeking a quiet neighborhood with some small shopping options, it’s a perfect choice. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service—I had one of the best experiences thanks to an African American gentleman/ receptionist who went above and beyond. His joyful attitude and dedication to his work made a lasting impression. The only thing to keep in mind is to plan ahead for transportation, as scheduling or allowing extra time for Uber is necessary.

The room was lovely, the staff was helpful and friendly, and you can't beat the location for a visit to Hillsborough.

Was double charged for stay, had to call to get it corrected

Positives: clean and well located Negatives: Non-existent soundproofing (I now know much more about the people in the adjacent room and the room above me than I really wanted to.) Inconsistent housekeeping service. One day the room was fully cleaned, the next day the bed was not even made. I don't mean linens changed. I mean they didn't even pull the covers up and put the pillows back in place. Inconsistent front desk attitude, one person pleasant, another borderline rude Maintenance person who entered my room to check the thermostat reeked of smoke. The entire property was supposedly non-smoking. The room lacked a coffee maker. Only way to get coffee was to get dressed, go outside, then re,-enter their lobby. Instead the room had some device that looked like a small electric mop that I can only guess was a shoe duster. This particular room was so tiny. It had no desk or even any writing surface. I can't speak to the other rooms.

We are always happy to bring coffee directly to your door with fresh ground locally sourced coffee beans for the premium experience versus the in-room pod option. The device in the room is a steamer for quick and easy fresh steaming of clothing versus the traditional bulky iron and board. We are sorry the floating nightshelves did not provide enough room to write but in our suite styles we have full desks, mini-fridges and a sectional sofa with a coffee table.
