Beach Hotels in Hillsborough, Carriacou and Petite Martinique

"Spent two nights in Carriacou during our recent vacation to Grenada. Roxanne was a great host and the staff were very nice. We didn’t use the cooking facilities as I never cook on vacation. Views were beautiful, it was quiet and safe. There is a little convenience store that you can walk to with a bar but otherwise you need to take the bus everywhere. We were fortunate that we could order breakfast at the Bogles. Small beach area with black sand was lovely "

"Gary and Beverly were great hosts. Very friendly people who also sell the best rotis in town on Friday and Saturday lunchtimes only. They were most accommodating to our needs. "

"Hillsborough is a bit of a shanty town..all the action seems to be in Tyrell Bay now,but Jonas and his people do a great job in my view anyway. Light breakfast and good local menu at night including fresh seafood with a little Japanese local interpretation was very nice...no beach out the front...but I enjoyed my stay here..Thanks Jonas.. "

"The staff are very friendly and respectful, the services is excellent. As for the property, the shower did not work properly, there was no cold water in the shower, the water was scorching hot. Too much light coming in to the rooms at night because the drapes are hanging too low under the arch window. This can be remedied with new drapes to hang above the arch window "

"We stayed at the Mermaid Beach Hotel over the Christmas period. Jude our host was wonderful and I cannot speak more highly of her. However, we were very disappointed with the property itself. We booked this hotel as it was advertised that it included a beachside restaurant and bar. However, this was not the case and the hotel restaurant and bar was shut the entirety of our stay (except for when they opened for a private corporate Christmas party that went until 2am). Carriacou completely shuts...

Our comfort and satisfaction was a priority for them throughout our one-week stay. we could.
