Nice small hotel on the beach. 100m walk to turtle beach. The guys working there are really nice too!

Great Location

Turtles rest
Posted 19 Feb 2018 on HotelsGood location friendly family. Unfortunately our room was very tired compared with photos there was clearly a damp problem. Restaurant has a comprehensive menu although appeared shut the first few days as no effort was made to promote probably our fault make sure you ask for menu. Good restaurants all around.

Nice resort by the beach.

Pros: It's comfortable and value for money.
And just beside the beach!
Cons: Their location in google map should be corrected, It's not 300m from the Hikkaduwa station, more like 1km from the station.
The staff is very good and friendly.
The room is nice and comfortable.

Good location between the surf/snorkel area

Pros: location
Cons: Beds a little uncomfortable, no hot water and only one pillow
The hosts were lovely, the location is really good especially for the price. It is clean and comfortable.

Pros: Everything.
Location: Great location. The seafood platter at JJ's a bit south of Turtles Rest is really nice too.
Turtles Rest has been one of the highlights of our trip so far. It's in an excellent location for surrounding bars, restaurants and shopping. Try the local breakfasts...yum! I wish I could give the staff here a 6 or more. Just lovely.
